Become Part of Our Initial Beta Classes

Our First Beta Class "The Trajectory of Redemption" Launched Fall of 2024 | Second Semester Begins March 4th, 2025 with Two New Classes

On September 10th, 2024, dozens of students joined us in person for the launch class of Buffalo School of the Bible. Rev. Aimee Reid-Sych, MA in Theology with emphasis in Biblical Exegesis, will be teaching and designing the prototype classes as she leads the development of our school.

Our next semester of classes will begin March 4th, 2025 with the offering of two new classes:

Hermeneutics

The Logos Revealed. Paul exhorts his spiritual son, Timothy, to “study” in order to “present himself approved” to God as a worker that is proficient at “accurately handling the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15). Hermeneutics is the science of Biblical Interpretation, equipping us with the tools we need to be apt interpreters and stewards of Holy Scripture. In this class we will survey the literary, cultural, social, and historical issues that impact any text. We will examine our role as an interpreter of the text, and tackle the complications we face in applying the Bible in valid and significant ways today. As the LOGOS unfolds to us, we will learn to lean in to the Holy Spirit and receive the RHEMA word contained within the magnificent pages of the Holy Word of God.

Luke-Acts

Two Volumes, One Witness. This is the remarkable combination of Luke-Acts in Scripture. In this single-vision, Luke explores the breadth of Messiah’s story alongside the birth and growth of the church as a continuation of His-story. The gospel is seen in movement throughout Luke-Acts—in Luke, its movement is toward Jerusalem and in Acts, the gospel spreads from Jerusalem through the surrounding areas, and ultimately is setup to reach the uttermost parts of the world. Acts is often regarded as the Book of the Holy Spirit, the powerful guiding thread throughout the ever-progressing mission of the church. In Luke-Acts, we will examine the theological themes that complete the arc of the volumes, and dive deeply into the Spirit-empowered mission of the people of God as the Kingdom expands upon the earth.

Through the use of scholars resources, expert guest lecturers, online video and assignments, and live classroom environment (accessible in person or on google-meet), students will come into a deep understanding of the breadth of Scripture alongside the array of course topics, equipping them to be a prophetic voice into all of today’s cultural spheres.
