Our Sunday night service is frequently referred to as the "Breakthrough" service. The service doesn't really have a set end time. It is common for the service to conclude with an altar call near 8:45pm and have numerous people stay at the altar to receive prayer or simply remain in the presence of the Lord through to 9pm or later. Because of the longer format of the service, often the praise and worship time is longer than those of the morning services. The praise and worship time is led by our worship band, and is a passionate and heartfelt time of expressing adoration to our King. The speaker at the evening service is rarely the same minister that shared for the morning services.
Some that attend this service would not consider The Tabernacle their home church - but come simply to be encouraged and challenged through attending another service. There are also those who would consider The Tabernacle their home church and either do or don't attend a morning service here. We receive both tithes (from those who consider The Tabernacle their home church) and a special offering for the guest speaker when a guest shares.
