TAB Blog: IGNITE – The Tabernacle Kids Ministry

By January 6, 2019Uncategorized

Greetings Tabernacle Family!

I wanted to take a moment to first thank you for welcoming me here at The Tab and allowing me to shepherd your kids. It’s one of the greatest blessings I have ever received. I love your children and they have already won me over.

Let me share a little bit of my heart and greatest passion in life. I believe that when Jesus told us the Kingdom of heaven belongs to the children (Matt. 19:14), He meant it. I see the Kingdom when I look at these kids. One of the truths I have been emphasizing to them is that they are more than “just kids.” The same Spirit. who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in THEM (Rom. 8:11), and God doesn’t give them a junior Holy Spirit! My heart beats for them to genuinely encounter Him and hold fast to the truth of who they are in Christ.

With that being said, we are so excited for the relaunching of the Kids Ministry here at The Tab, beginning next Sunday, January 13th. I am honored to announce “IGNITE – The Tabernacle Kids Ministry” – to ignite the flame of God and keep it burning in our hearts. Now that we are IGNITE, we will be introducing a lot of effective methods to ignite the fire and keep it burning. We’ll be having themed message series, related dramas, more awesome times of prayer and worship, deeper classroom times, monthly themed parties/events, outreaches, new check-in system, video announcements, a parents resource board, and of course, lots of FUN!

My appeal to you Church-family and intercessors, is that you would keep us in prayer, and please feel free to join us as our team meets regularly for prayer as well. I believe with all my heart that these kids will experience the grace and wonder of the fire of God’s love for them. Having you to undergird us in prayer is what it is going to take to make it all happen. Thank you in advance, and if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me.

Many Blessings,

Jennifer Cupicha
