TAB Blog: Pamela Kellner

Dear Friends,

Many of you already know of my decision to retire from my position as Director of Southwestern Daycare Center and Director of Preschool Ministries at The Tabernacle. All of my family live quite a distance from Western New York and I feel that I am missing valuable time with my grandchildren, as well as with my mother and my own two children.

The church has hired Sharon Baldwin to fill the positions that I am vacating. Sharon began work on September 10th. She is a gifted leader and will be a great asset to the daycare and to the church. We have been working together so that she becomes familiar with the position and is acclimated to the regulations and daycare operations. Sharon has completed all the necessary training and all her required approvals with the state of New York are in place.

I would like to express my appreciation for the opportunity to have been a part of the ministry of this great church. I am excited about the future of Southwestern Daycare Center and The Tabernacle. I believe that God’s hand is in the timing of my retirement and in the selection of my successor.

Please do not think of this as “Good-bye!” Until our house sells and we move out of the area, I will continue to be a part of the body here. This decision will just afford me the flexibility to travel with Gary and to visit my family whenever I like… and the weather permits!

Thank you again for the privilege of serving with you these last sixteen years. Both Gary and I pray for God’s richest blessings on the church, the daycare and on each of you.

Sincerely,

Pamela Kellner
