TAB Blog: I am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

By August 26, 2018Uncategorized

Dear Tabernacle Family,

‘I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.’ (Ps. 139:14, NKJV) This has been a scripture placed upon my heart for some time now. It not only represents a beautiful devotion to our God in recognition of everything seen and unseen that was created by Him, but I also ponder the knowledge of just how wonderfully made we are!

How we care for the entire body through the food we eat greatly influences our mood/emotions, decisions/choices, and lifestyle. We rarely think of how daily habits affect our health. Sometimes it’s out of an unknowing that we make unhealthy choices, sometimes it’s out of deception of what is good/pure/whole in our world, and sometimes we fall into the lies of the enemy that heredity is greater than our decisions; that our earthly family history takes precedence over the Family history we have been grafted into.

Given half a chance, the body will heal itself; that is how amazing this earthly vessel is! Illness equals imbalance. Many imbalances are ones that can be addressed at home with simple tools: food, rest, prayer, and exercise. Simplicity is made complicated by our uncertainties of where to begin and how to proceed, but it doesn’t have to be! It is important to listen to our bodies, seek knowledge/resources available, and begin to build vitality in all areas of our life. When God formed us from dust He breathed HIS life into us; transferring into our very beings the ability to hear His voice, feel His pain, and find peace and HEALING in His hands. We are literally an extension of His presence! And in His Presence there is fullness of joy! (Ps. 16:11)
