TAB Blog: East Coast Conference

“And He said, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’ Then he said to Him, ‘If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.’“ Exodus 33:14-15

What makes us unique? Really. Lots of groups and clubs meet weekly. Many people attend musical productions or speeches every day. What makes our Sunday morning different from a Kiwanis, Rotary or any other kind of civic meeting of people wanting to genuinely do good?

Presence. That’s it. It is the Presence of the living God in the midst of His people that makes us different from every other religion and organization on the planet.

Moses knew this, which is why he said to the Lord, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.” Yet we can become so familiar with the presence of God that we can take it for granted.

This July 11 – 14 you are invited to join believers from across the nation for “Fire & Presence: East Coast Conference 2018” hosted at The Tabernacle. This four day gathering will include ministry from internationally renowned worship leaders Rick Pino, Eddie James, as well as Eagles’ Wings and the Fitt brothers. Draw aside and spend extended time in God’s presence, soaking in His goodness and being marked by a fresh word for your life. Registration starts at $59 and evening sessions are open to the public. See the full schedule and details at www.eagleswings.org/ECC18 use promo code: TABDISCOUNT

His presence not only refreshes but it also leads, as it did the Children of Israel straight to the Promised Land. This people, the Jewish people, stewarded the presence of God for thousands of years. They and the land of Israel are a part of our spiritual DNA.

Tonight, we are very honored and blessed to have, direct from Israel, one of the great ministry leaders of our time. Dr. Dan & Patti Juster are leaders of the global Tikkun movement with congregations spread around the world. They live in Israel and carry a powerful testimony of what God is doing in this nation and the nations. You do not want to miss this dynamic couple speaking tonight at 7:00pm.

As we pursue God’s heart, honoring His presence through these special events and each time we gather, we will make way for a fuller expression of His Kingdom in our midst!

TAB Blog: Father’s Day

Hello Family,

It’s Father’s Day again, a special day set aside to honor our fathers.

I want to tell you about my Father…

My Father is a wonderful father! He loves me so much and He always has loved me. I know that the day I was born He was there loving me, so excited to see me. He held me in His arms and blessed me. He said I had His eyes. His dream for me was to live a blessed life and to be a blessing to others.

As far back as I can remember He wanted to spend time with me. He always wanted to share His heart with me, continually pouring His love into me. He would ask me questions that made me think and then He would give me the answers. When I had questions about anything, He was there and always willing to talk. As I grew up and life became more difficult, my Father continued to encourage and affirm me in my life decisions. I can never lose as long as He is with me, loving me.

Even when I did dumb things, like getting angry and wanting to live my life independent of Him, He continued to love me. He never turned His back on me and never stopped loving me.

I’m learning to be more like Him. My Father is with me always. When I started a family, He was there; not just loving me, but my wife and children as well. In fact, He calls them His children and they are. He loves them with the same love He loves me with, providing everything we could ever want or need because of His great love.

My Father didn’t decide to love, He is love. He loves the whole world as much as He loves me. His love for us is so great, so deep and so wide, we can’t understand it with our minds. Only when we open our hearts can we begin to comprehend His love for us.

I first learned about Father’s love by watching my older brother Jesus and His relationship with our Father. Their relationship was so special and so intimate. Jesus lived in the bosom of our Father. He did only what He saw our Father do and said only what He heard Him say. They were so close that at one point, if you saw Jesus, you saw our Father. Jesus loved the Father so much, He came to earth to die in order bring many sons into glory. They love us so much that they decided to come and make their home with us and in us.

I invite you all today, no matter who you are or where you’re from, to open your heart, allow Him in and let Him be your Father too.

Happy Father’s Day!

Expanding with the Lord

When God increases, it becomes an across the board effect. In other words, His Glory sweeps over much and many all at once. Changing one small thing has consequences. After all, God is the great engineer, creator of all things from the tiniest molecule to the enormity of the solar system. I was thinking about the vibration of sound that God created to form into our own individual sound. Imagine we each have our own identity. I know I am a creative person, I tend to think out of the box. But God is able to create the things you want to use to create something with! My mom was also very creative, she and Dad raised 9 children. When she heard one of us say “Mom there’s nothing to do!” She would find you some chore to accomplish or a baby to take care of. But sometimes there would come a cherished moment when she would sit alongside one of us and teach us how to sew buttons or cut paper dolls all connected together. Those were the times when loving support and patience are mixed together by God to create spontaneous thoughts and your mind can wander off on creative tangents. All of a sudden you are smiling and giving life to an inanimate object that was just recently lying there flat. God can do anything. He can give you a dream to dwell on and chew on and lead you along on a path that you may not even be aware will have an effect on the creation of your dream. He knows our hearts so very deeply. My mom knew each one of her nine children but God knows us even more tenderly and deeply than your own mom and dad.

The book of our lives is written in heaven for each of us. I see the books we purchase through the bookstore for all of us to enjoy and I think about all the different personalities of authors we are privileged to enjoy. Each author gives so much to us from within themselves. I heard we should all write a book as it would help us to know our identity, who we are. When you write, your brain, heart and experiences unite to communicate ‘you.’ I am so grateful God created us each to be unique. We are meant to love and care for each other. I can fill the spaces in you that you may need to be nourished and fulfilled by writing a book. I don’t even have to know of you or anything about you, yet you can understand me in the way I choose to write about my feelings and experiences. You can relate and feel what is being described inside. God is so amazing. He is able to lead us into just the right interaction, space and time with a complete stranger in order for each of us to gain a reaction through His Holy Spirit.

My husband, Alex, and I recently were in Florida to visit our friends. We decided to rent a car and travel to the Keys and then back to Ft. Lauderdale for a day or so to deliver our rental car and be at the airport on time. As we were touring around Ft. Lauderdale we met a young woman in a coffee shop. She was seated alone at a long table so we joined her and engaged in conversation. We found her to be delightful and as we were about to leave we exchanged phone numbers. That was January. Yesterday, Alex was at work and received a large box from a pizza shop, Malnatis, in Chicago. It had frozen pizzas, an apron, pizza spatula, pizza pan, half pound of chocolates and two cookies. This was sent from the young woman, a stranger who we had met in the coffee shop. She just decided to reach out to us in love and send us this extravagant gift. She blessed our lives. We are so grateful and humble to God for sending her our way.

I would like to say that we really meet people we are supposed to meet and we have a choice to bless them in kindness, ignore them or just be insensitive to the needs of others and think only of ourselves. Remember God is Father and creator of all. He has plans for you. Hold up your dream to Him. He can make anything happen.

With the love of God,

Hello Tabernacle Family!

This week I have been meditating on a Scripture we quote regularly, so well known to most of us … but this week, has presented to me a personal challenge, like a beckoning call deep to my spirit.

Psalms 27:4 Amplified Bible
One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.

In this Psalmists cry, I also hear the cry of the Spirit to come into a deeper possession of a supernatural, living communion with the Lord. It’s calling me to “inquire for, and insistently require” something in my life … a consistent dwelling in the Presence of God, all the days of my life. In this place, my eyes awaken to behold the overwhelming beauty of the Lord. In this place, I meditate upon Him, upon that which is Holy. In this place, I find home.

This is not a place of Christian traditions, or obligations fulfilled, but it is a dimension of living that unlocks truth, revelation, and power like we have not yet known. More importantly, it is where we discover love and holy intimacy with Jesus, the King of the Universe, yet the lover of our soul.

Understand that your personal experience is greater than or even stronger than knowledge. Experience comes from direct observation or participation. You cannot gain experience without engaging and getting personally involved in the process. It is an action that requires directly perceiving and becoming aware through the use of one’s senses. You grab hold and truly assimilate what you are experiencing at the moment.

Now, knowledge comes by acquiring information. To gain knowledge is to have awareness or an acquaintance with the subject, cognitively. When you have an understanding of knowledge, you have learned a summary of a body of truth and can communicate it aptly to another.

As wonderful as knowledge is, experience still rises above it because it is so much more than a cognitive exchange; it is a apprehension of a totality that leaves a deep impression upon you, that changes and marks you forever.

This is the beckoning call I feel burning in me today, to simply and intentionally pursue a new dimension of life-experience, beholding Him! Open your heart today to hear that same call, one that calls you home to your holy dwelling place.

Tuesday evenings, beginning this week, we are opening up Tab Life to anyone (men and women) hungry for this experience. Each week for June and July, in the Reid Leadership Center we will begin with prophetic prayer ministry at 6:00pm, then at 7:00pm we will dive into a video study with Rolland and Heidi Baker called, “Living From the Presence.” After the study we will take time to discuss and pray into all that we are discovering.

This is an opportunity for investment into your personal, House of Prayer, and the building of a supernatural lifestyle that will bring His presence and power into all you do!

For His Glory,
Pastor Aimee
