Dear Tabernacle Family,
The day we have been long anticipating has finally arrived and this evening we have the wonderful privilege of joining together with both the Jewish and Christian Communities of WNY for “Buffalo Celebrates Israel!”
Tonight at 6:00pm we will fill the Sanctuary at New Covenant Tabernacle, 345 McConkey Dr, Buffalo, NY 14223, to express our solidarity with the Jewish people, join in a wonderful celebration of the Nation of Israel, and express our commitment to Judeo-Christian values that are under assault in our day.
The evening will feature uplifting worship with Bishop Robert and the Eagles’ Wings worship team and a special presentation by the Kedimah School. We are especially excited to hear from Rabbi Pini Dunner of the Beverly Hills Synagogue, New York Senator Timothy Kennedy, along with other leaders from the faith community of Greater Buffalo.
During the service an offering will be received to support the Feeding Centers that Eagles’ Wings sponsors in Jerusalem and Tiberius, along with the good-will work that is done throughout the Land. A highlight of the evening is when the offering will be presented before the Jewish Community as a demonstration of our genuine love for Israel. Please come prepared to share in this freewill offering.
Tabernacle Family, it has never been more urgent than now for us to respond to our Scriptural call to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and to stand as Watchmen on the Wall. Israel is facing many challenges in the world right now and in this pivotal hour it is important that you add your voice to those of others in this region expressing Jesus’ heart for His covenant people. This is not the hour to be silent but to arise and stand together as we seek the blessing of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We’re asking all of us to prioritize this once-a-year evening and honor the Lord and His ancient covenant people as we gather together. Your presence in this evening’s service will go a long way in expressing the love of Jesus to the Jewish Community.
We’re looking forward to seeing you this evening!
Bishop Robert Stearns and Pastor Jim Ruddy
