Pastor’s Pen: The Blessed Life

By September 24, 2017Uncategorized

Dear Tabernacle Family,

I am so excited to be engaging with you in our All-Church Study of “The Blessed Life” by Pastor Robert Morris. I am confident that the truths we will unlock will help position us to be a great blessing to the work of God’s Kingdom.

Please receive the following encouragement from Robert Morris, Pastor of Gateway Church in Lakeview, Texas, and author of “The Blessed Life.”

“Hi everyone at The Tabernacle. I love you guys so much and I’m so proud of how God is using you to expand the kingdom in your area! As you know, Bishop Robert Stearns and I have been close friends for many, many years, through our work together on the Kings University Board and having ministered together. I love Robert and have the upmost respect for him.

I’m so excited that you’re going to be going through the series and the book “The Blessed Life.” As an international best-seller, having been translated into about 40 languages, God has literally used this book to transform and change people’s lives all over the world.

I know you are going to be greatly impacted from the truths you’ll discover. I like to say this way, “We get to give, we don’t give to get!” When we get that right in our hearts, then God blesses us so that we can be a blessing. I hope you’ll pick up a copy of the book and that you’ll join a home-group, and that you will let God speak to you through this series, so that you can be blessed, and so you can be a blessing!”

Today, we begin in earnest both our individual and corporate study of The Blessed Life! I’m confident that the Holy Spirit, who delights in leading us into all truth, is going to illuminate some key principles from today’s message that will bring you into a deeper, fuller understanding of how much God desires to bless you. Let’s expect, as we faithfully respond to the message, that God will give us fresh insight into the eternal principles set forth in His Word, and that He will lead each of us into a rich, and full, and Blessed Life!

With joy,

Pastor Jim Ruddy
