Pastor’s Pen: Restoring the Foundations (RTF)

By July 30, 2017Uncategorized

Dear Tab Family,

These are exciting times to be alive. In these last days, Father God promises to restore the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers (Malachi 4:5-6). Notice there are two directions in this restoration process: Fathers, don’t provoke your children to anger (Eph. 6:4), and then, children, honor your father and mother (Eph. 6:2). The process of restoration begins with forgiveness which is the key to healing. Fathers need to be able to forgive, by first asking for forgiveness from God, then by forgiving their own fathers, and finally, by forgiving themselves. It is only when the heart is healed that forgiveness is truly complete. When a father becomes open and humble, it creates a safe place for his children to begin to receive love from him.

Children also need to experience forgiveness in the same ways their fathers have. When this is accomplished, children will become open-hearted and able to receive the love from their father. Once again, forgiveness is the key. This is the same way we can receive from our Heavenly Father, by removing the blocks that stand in the way between ourselves and our Father who loves us.

The ministry of Restoring The Foundations (RTF), which we have the joy of overseeing in our region, uses an integrated approach to bring healing, deliverance and freedom to all of God’s children. Based on solid Biblical truth, RTF addresses four main areas, common to all of us, which when addressed, bring healing and allow the restoration process to begin.

Sins of the Fathers and Resulting Curses deals with generational baggage passed on through our family line (Gal. 3:13).
Ungodly Beliefs confronts the untruths and half-truths that we have believed about God, ourselves or others (Rom. 12:2).
Soul / Spirit Hurts addresses the wounds of life, mostly those received during childhood and from within our families (Lu. 4:18).
Demonic Oppression confronts the work of the enemy whose mission is to steal, kill and destroy (1 Jn. 3:8).

Restoring The Foundations has become an important part of our lives. Since we embarked on this healing journey, we have been opened to a new love and relationship with Father God and with our own family members. Our prayer is that you will receive all the Father has for your life and that full restoration will come to you and your family. We invite you to visit www.stepintofreedom.org for more information.

Many Blessings,
